30 minutes, free
We ask what's breaking, what's coming, and what you've already tried. If we're not the right fit, we say so on this call and point you somewhere better.
02
Fixed scope, fixed price
We inventory every system, account, license, and backup, and test whether the backups restore. Scope, price, and delivery date are agreed in writing before it starts.
03
The report is yours
We walk you and your team through the findings. If you want to hand the roadmap to another provider or your own IT person, that's a legitimate outcome and we'll help you do it.
04
Optional, quoted per item
If you want us to do the work, each roadmap item is quoted separately and you approve them one at a time. No bundled retainer you can't unpick.
The written assessment is yours to keep whether or not we do the work — it's how you judge our thinking before committing to anything bigger.
30min
Free scoping call. If we're not a fit, we say so on it.
0

Where we work
Assessments often go faster in person — walking the office, opening the network cabinet, watching how work actually flows. We do that across the Austin metro, and everything after it runs just as well remotely for clients anywhere in the US.

Founder — 03
Small businesses get the worst of both worlds in technology. Big consultancies won't return your calls at your budget, and the cheap end of the market sells you whatever it resells, disappears, and leaves you holding systems nobody understands.
I started CrowdSolutions to be the third option: one accountable engineer who learns your business, writes down what's actually there, and tells you the truth about it — including when the honest answer is that you don't need to spend anything. I take no vendor commissions, so nothing I recommend is quietly paid for by the company I'm recommending.
The first conversation is free, and the first deliverable is a document you keep either way. You'll know quickly whether we're the right fit — and I'll tell you if we're not.

Fit — 04
Three situations where hiring us would be a mistake. We'd rather you know now than three weeks in.
We're a consultancy, not a break-fix shop with a dispatch team. If a server is down right now, call an MSP that runs a van.
You probably don't need us yet. Turn on multi-factor authentication, verify your backups actually restore, and revisit this in a year.
We're not it, and we won't pretend otherwise. Independent advice costs more than a vendor who makes their margin on what they resell you.
FAQ — 05
Fair question — we'd ask it too. CrowdSolutions is new as a company, and we don't pad that with invented client counts or borrowed logos. What you get instead: the founder does the work personally, scope and price are written down before money changes hands, and the first deliverable is a document you keep and can act on with any provider — including one that isn't us.
The assessment is a flat fee agreed in writing before it starts, not an hourly meter — you know the number before you commit. Execution work after it is quoted per roadmap item so you approve each one separately, and ongoing support runs month to month with no annual contract and no auto-renewal.
A written report: an executive summary, a full inventory of systems, accounts and licenses, findings with the evidence behind them, a risk register in business terms, and a prioritized roadmap with a cost estimate against each item. Plus a walkthrough session with you and your team. It's yours — if you hand it to another provider, that's a legitimate outcome.
No. We take no commissions, referral fees, or reseller margin from any vendor. That matters most during vendor selection: our recommendation is the product we're selling, so it isn't quietly funded by the company we recommend.
We're based in Austin, TX and glad to meet local clients in person — Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Pflugerville, and San Marcos are all easy. Most consulting work runs just as well remotely, and we take on clients across the United States.
Yes, and it's common. Assessment and strategy work sits above day-to-day support: we can review what your current provider has built, give you an independent read on it, and hand them a roadmap to execute. We'll tell you plainly when the right answer is staying exactly where you are.
